On 15 May 2026, the fifth year of the Four Clubs One Goal event was proudly hosted in partnership with Crimestoppers alongside Everton FC, Liverpool FC, and Tranmere Rovers FC. The event brought together four teams in a positive and inclusive football tournament, with a strong focus on education, awareness, and prevention around drugs, county lines criminal exploitation, abuse, and violence affecting young people across Merseyside.

A key part of the tournament was the involvement of local schools across the region, with each club supporting both boys’ and girls’ participation. In total, four boys’ teams and four girls’ teams from schools that the clubs regularly work with were selected to take part, ensuring equal opportunity and representation. This structure helped create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere throughout the day, while also strengthening connections between professional clubs, local schools, and communities across Merseyside. Alongside the football, the event delivered powerful educational messages, helping young people understand the risks of exploitation and the importance of making safe, informed choices.

A highlight of the day was a talk delivered to the Year 7 group by Angela Preston, an award-winning Liverpool motivational speaker and author. She shared a deeply personal account of how crime and exploitation had impacted her own family, giving students a real-life perspective on the issues being discussed and reinforcing the importance of awareness and prevention.
