Adam Yates, our Marine FC stadium announcer, has completed the London Marathon in an incredible 5:25:55 💙
After struggling with hip and leg injuries in the lead-up, Adam admitted he “had no idea what to expect” on the day. What started steady quickly turned into a real test, with the final miles described as “a nightmare” — but with over £2,000 raised for Marine in the Community, there was no way he was going to stop.
Fighting through pain in tough conditions, Adam showed unbelievable determination to reach the finish line and do it for such a great cause. He’s shared how grateful he is for all the support, donations, and messages that helped carry him through.
