This weeks Star of the week is our Women’s Walking football team (Marine Mermaids). Our team took to the field in their brand new kit last Saturday as they went head to head with Formby ladies at the Arena. The Monday night training must of played off as our Marine Mermaids drew their first game 1-1. The Mermaids goal came from a 30 yard scorcher by Claire Welles. It was a great game and well done to all involved, If you would like to join this up and coming Women’s walking football team why not pop along to our Monday session at 8pm. As their motto says Why Not!
