Hello all,
As next week approaches and you return to Marine FC for your weekly fix of walking football, I just wanted to give you a quick update and welcome you back.
This year, the sessions will be overseen by a committee, who will take responsibility for running the sessions smoothly. They will collect the money, ensure everything is well-organised, and continue the fantastic work that has been going on for several years.
Please note that all the money raised will go directly to the committee responsible for the weekly sessions and not to Marine in the Community.
That said, we are still here to support you in any way we can. We’ve ensured you’ve kept your prime Monday slot, and if you ever need assistance, we’re always available.
Starting in September, we’ll also be running a Friday Walking Football session every Friday from 11am to 12pm. It’s proven to be popular, so feel free to join if you’re available.
We’re confident the Monday sessions will continue to thrive, and we wish you all the best for the new season ahead. If you’d like to get involved in any of our other activities or visit the new Community Hub, you’re always welcome.
